This is a pair of steles srected at the stone chamber for the placenta of King Sukjong (1674~1720), the 19th king of joseon.
In 1869, the placenta and stone chamber were relocated to Yangju in Gyeongggi Province and only the steales remain today.
The stele erected in 1661, when the placenta was first placed, has lotus flower decorations in the stele top and pedestal stone.
