아이돌의 전형 Take that의 Back for good

한국에 사람까지 압사당해 죽을정도로 인기를 끌었던 뉴키즈 온더블럭이 저물어갈때 혜성같이 등장하여 영국에서만 인기를 끌다가 전세계적으로 인기를 얻게 된 3잡에 수록된 Back for good이라는 노래다. 어느정도 인기를 끄나 싶더니 만 5년만에 갑작스럽게 해체를 한다. 이후 먹고 살기가 힘들었던지 2006년에 아 아이돌들은 나이먹고 재결합한다.

 

한국의 아이돌들은 재결합때 대부분 반짝하고 끝나버리지만 이들은 성공하여 자리잡게 된다.

1996년에 Take That 이 해체될때도 갑작스럽게 한 명이 떠나가 솔로로 데뷔하는 바람에 해체했는데 한국 아이돌은 혹시나 해서 떼거지로 만드는 모양이다. 요즘 한국 아이돌 노래들은 노래실력은 그다지 중요하지 않다. 리드싱어가 정해져있기는 하지만 머 딱히 잘하는것 같지도 않다. 즉 탁월한 리드싱어가 지 잘난 맛에 솔로로 데뷔해도 나머지 그룹은 남아 있다는 것이 요즘 한국아이돌의 특징이다. 애프터스쿨에서 가희가 나와 솔로곡을 발표해도 인기를 얻지도 못했고 성공도 못했다. 그래서 그런지 그룹탈퇴는 안하고 살짝 간보듯이 솔로 앨범을 냈다가 슬그머니 다시 그룹으로 들어간다. 안전빵이라는건데 머 결국 혼자해도 될만큼 실력있는 아이돌이 없다는 증거이기도 하다.
