Usher(어셔)의 최고 전성기를 열어준 노래 Yeah

클럽좀 다녀본 사람치고 어셔의 Yeah를 들어보지 않은 사람으 거의 없다.

특히 래퍼로 나오는 루다크리스는 분노의 질주 시리즈에서도 얼굴이 많이 알려진 배우이다. 그의 이력을 보면 2004~ 'Yeah!' 12주간 빌보드 싱글 차트 1위라고 나온다. 보통은 Yeah와 어셔를 연결시키지만 무엇보다도 래퍼였던 루다 크리스의 비중도 상당히 큰 편이다.

 

 

 

2004년에 발매된 어셔의 4집 앨범 ‘Confession’에 수록되어 있는 곡으로, 빌보드 차트에서 12주 동안 1위를 한 어셔의 대표적 히트곡이다. 어셔는 1978년 텍사스 주의 달라스에서 태어나 테네시 주의 조그마한 도시에서 살다 자신의 재능을 발견하고 그 분야로 뛰어든다. 테네시 주는 음악가들이나..진보를 생각하는 사람들이 많이 살았던 모양이다. 그가 태어난  달라스는 텍사스 주에서 세 번째로 큰 도시이며, 미국에서는 아홉 번째로 큰 도시로 J.F. 캐네디가 암살된 곳이기도 하다.
