마션의 노래 데이빗 보위의 Starman

데이빗 보위의 최고 히트곡중 하나로 자리한 'Starman'은 그들의 성공과 함께 하였다. 우리가 지금은 화성에 가려고 안간힘을 쓰고 있지만 과거에 나온 소설들을 보면 화성에서 지구로 탐사온 외계인들이 주인공이 되는 경우가 많았다. 화성에서 온 Ziggy라는 외계인의 성공과 좌절이 담긴 앨범에 들어가 있는 노래다. 

영화 마션에서 가장 인상적인 음악은 희망을 말하는 느낌의 노래 Starman이다. David Bowie의 노래로 1972년에 발표한 앨범 'The rise and fall of ziggy stardust and spiders from mars'의 수록곡 4번째 음악이다. 

참고로 Starman을 부른 데이빗 보위는 가수이며 제작자이며 미술가, 배우로 자리잡은 끼가 넘치는 사람중 하나다.
