아토믹 키튼을 정상에 올린 The tide to high

월드컵이 열리기 전해인 2001년 나타샤 해밀턴, 제니 프로스트, 리즈 맥라논 세명이 모여 아토믹 키튼 (Atomic kitten)이라는 그룹을 결성했다. 영국 리버플 출신의 이들은  두 장의 앨범 [Right Now]와 [Feels So Good]은 모두 UK 앨범 차트 정상을 차지했다. 개인적으로 스파이스 걸스보다는 아토믹 키튼의 노래가 더 좋다.

 

음색도 좋았고 발랄한 느낌에 노래가사가 가진 의미까지 궁합이 잘 맞았던 노래가 The tide to high다.

2년전인가 재결합이야기가 나오긴 했던것 같은데 이들은 2003년까지 활발한 활동을 했었다. 

적지 않은 히트곡을 냈지만 그중 한국인들이 가장 좋아하는 노래는 See ya와 The tide to high이다.
